We've been indulging in Camp Grandma since last Tuesday. We've gone mini-golfing. We've gone to lunch - several times, actually, as Grandma wanted to take each of the kids on a special lunch by themselves. We've gone to the park and played. We've watched movies and played on the Wii. We've gone shopping. We've played games - lots and lots of games. The kids are having a blast!
Jay and I are benefitting from Grandma's visit as well. We've gone on two dates in the past 10 days - shocking, I know. Even more shocking is the fact that we're considering another movie date this weekend. It's been nice to have some company during the day and I've been able to go run simple errands by myself, which takes so much less time than loading and unloading the whole family from the minivan.
So yay for Camp Grandma. We'll be sad to see her go but we're sure having a great time while she's here!
